                                 A Brilliant Blend

A Custom - built home at an affordable price point is a dream many of us would like to fulfil. Adding your personality into a design, so you can live how you and your family want, is something that should always be considered. One of the latest display homes to open at Evanston South, The Brampton by Rendition Homes is a custom design inspired by the needs of clients who want to blend luxury with affordability, says Rendition's marketing co-ordinator Juri Pali."Our customers wanted an affordable, luxury, custom facade and, based on their initial feedback, we feel that we have certainly achieved all the above, " she says.

Starting from $200,000, this four- bedroom, two bathroom design has a spacious footprint of 268.93 sqm, and with 2.7m ceilings, it creates a home with a fabulous sense of space. "From the moment you walk through the front door, you get a delightful feel about the home," Juri says. "Having raised 3m ceiling to the entry area, it gives you the sense of space, and as an added feature on the left is the home theatre room with a dropped bulkhead."

Perfect as a first, second or third home for families, The Brampton offers a mix of luxurious finishes, good balance and clever thinking. And in keeping with this mantra, the home's six-star rating, the use of insulation and LED lighting throughout and north-facing living areas, means it's a sustainable home for ongoing living. The Brampton's front exterior is a good example of the luxurious touches in the home. Half the front has been rendered in Solver's Cafe au Lait, and the other half has elegant travertine stone tiles, which give it a high-end look. This level of style continues inside through the entry and into the combined family/meals and kitchen zone. This will be a conventional space for social occasions as the layout encourages easy dining and the space opens out through wide doors to the alfresco area.

A dropped bulkhead defines the long galley-style  kitchen, which features a bank of cupboards in a fresh, white gloss with a glossy black splash back for impact, and stainless steel appliances. For contrast, a woodgrain laminate in a sublime Teak Riven is used on the island bench and finished with a 20mm Smartstone bench top in Merengo. Topping it all off is a huge walk-in-pantry with access to the double garage. "Once you've passed the entry, you walk into the open living area. The kitchen is  truly a feature point," Juri says."As visitors walk through and enter the main living area, they are truly amazed. They love the space, the size and look of the kitchen. They really love the butler's pantry and how the access from the double garage is straight into the pantry".

Not to be forgotten are the bedrooms, three of which feature high, long windows for privacy and security, and all have wardrobes. "The bedrooms are of a decent size to allow for desks in the children's bedrooms, and having two living areas for families always works well," Juri says.

At the front of the home, the spacious master suite has an extra-large walk-in robe, and a stunning ensuite with double vanities and a large double shower. (Trudy Oram)

SundayMail Home - Rendition 1st home

The Domus by Rendition 1st Homes
is a design first-home buyers will love

Rendition1st Homes' Domus is the right fit for the home buyers looking for a quality design suited to a 12.5 - wide block. And it looks good too! "The Domus combines simplicity and the modern lifestyle into an affordable custom - quality solution. Its distinctive modern facade makes a statement from the roadside and invites you into the experience" - says the senior architectural drafts-person Stuart.

The home also offers a warm welcome courtesy of its raked ceiling at the front. The three minor    bedrooms run off that hall - bedrooms two and three share a passageway to the main bathroom, while bedroom four at the front of the home could easily be converted to a study or home office. "The fourth bedroom is at the front of the home is perfect to adapt into a study and features a raked ceiling, making it feel light and airy," Stuart says. The entry hall also leads to the ultra-modern kitchen at the heart of the Domus. "The sleek kitchen  includes 20mm stone benchtops, polytec sheen cabinet doors and the soft - close drawers. Its finished off with a beautiful glass splash back that enhances the gloss appearance  of the high-tech surfaces," says Stuart.

The kitchen overlooks a large living space, including meals and family areas, which leads to the home theatre. "The seamless entertaining space does not appear to stop, with a cleverly positioned home theatre  room that accesses the garden," Stuart says. The meals area also opens on to the outdoors further extending the home's space for formal parties or casual get- togethers. Adults who like peace and quiet will also appreciate that the master suite with built in robe and ensuite, is at the rear of the house as far as possible from the street front. Stuart says the Domus easily meets six-star energy requirements.  "The high - level bedroom windows maximise the home's thermal efficiency whilst creating soft, subdued lighting, he says.

Rendition 1st Homes interior designer Angela Eden says the Domus' luxurious urban style decor would definitely appeal to young executives. "The palette is bright and colourful, enhanced by the natural light feeling throughout," she says. "A clever use of materials, colours and textures lends a lively and modern feel to the open spaciousness of the interior. The Domus makes a clear statement, that owning your first home does not mean any compromise in quality."

A touch of Italian luxury in Moscow, 30's and Michail Bulgakov

Patriarshiye Ponds (Патриаршие пруды) is one of the most exclusive residential areas in downtown Presnensky District of Moscow, Russia. It is confusing why it’s called “Ponds” as for the past 200 years there has been only one pond there, although the name of Tryokhpudny Pereulok 'Three – Pond Lane', suggests that there used to be more.

This ‘moscovian’ downtown area became universally famous, because of how Michail Bulgakov described it in his novel ‘The Master and Margarita’, because not by accident, the writer lived himself in this area, in the 30s.

Here's some luxury home in this area;

I present you, the extraordinary Marianne Evennou

I have a passion for French houses. It is because of how they respect their architectural characteristics, having interiors of perfect harmony, resisting times and trends but always contemporary. Today I will show you some interiors of a French architect, Marianne Evennou.

Some of our favourite interior & exterior designs around the world...

How amazing is the Peacock Room? Built in 1605, this gorgeous room is in an abandoned castle in Tuscany, Italy. The Sammezzano Castle sits on top of a hill in a Tuscan oak tree grove untouched by modern times...

Wouldn't it be fantastic to have an office with an interior and view like this?
Beauport Mansion in Gloucester, MA

Damien Langlois -Meurinne 'Shades of blue' living room

The secret garden of Richard Shapiro in the Holmby Hills, LA.

Sometimes you don't need a new painting, rugs or curtains to match your furniture to give the room a new look. A cool idea can do it!

Style your home with the Rendition Homes touch!

Armchairs are quite often a must have item in a lounge room. It is often a cosy reading and relaxing spot but quite often it creates a “balance” in the composition of the lounge room.

Why have one?

There is something cosy about armchairs and they can be moved around during family gatherings and when you have friends over. We would suggest a classic and elegant style like the ones in the picture; this way you will find it easier to create different looks by changing the rug, cushions and the art on the wall.

For those who like to have quality time with their loved ones whilst sharing a meal, the dining table should be spacious and have comfy chairs, and why not, stylish ones too! A long and spacious table enables you to add the extra chair when having guests and comfy/stylish chairs add a little personal touch in your dining room.

Beds like this are not only comfier but give that 1800s touch to your bedroom. This detail can be a good mix with a modern bedroom as well as add a little of a detail to a minimal one. Your bedroom will look very stylish if you use different textures and patterns as long as the colour palette is kept under control like in this beautiful rendition homes stylish bedroom.
